Do not use the soft sided coolers as they are not be able to keep food cold for several days at a time. Store your food in <a href=\"\/food-storage-containers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">leak proof storage containers<\/a>. <a href=\"\/mason-jars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mason jars<\/a>, when sealed correctly, also make great food storage containers. Investing in a <a href=\"\/vacuum-sealers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">food vacuum sealer<\/a> can help you maximize space in your cooler.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"freezing-camping-food\">Freezing Camping Food<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Before you pack your cooler with your camping food, freeze anything that you won&#8217;t need right away before added to your cooler. Food at warm temperatures in your cooler will melt the ice more quickly than if your food is frozen.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"organizing-multiple-camping-food-coolers\">Organizing Multiple Camping Food Coolers<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>A camping trip isn&#8217;t the same if you&#8217;re not sitting around the fire and grilling up hamburgers and hot dogs. Things can get jostled around in your car and while carrying your cooler to your site, so it&#8217;s very important to make sure to pack your raw meats in a separate hard cooler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cold beverages also need to go in a separate cooler as you&#8217;ll be opening and closing your cooler throughout the day letting out cold air. Meats need to be kept chilled consistently in order to maintain their freshness.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"packing-dry-foods\">Packing Dry Foods<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Pack your dry camping foods in <a href=\"\/food-storage-bags\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">storage bags<\/a> and leak proof storage containers.
