It&#8217;s also great for water aeration. The constant flow of the waterfall means the water falls through the air. This adds oxygen to the water, which helps with keeping away algae. Dig a holding pool &amp; path<\/strong> &#8211; A holding pool will help the water coming out of the pipe spill into the pond, instead of spraying everywhere. Once you have the holding pool, create a path for the waterfall. You&#8217;ll want it to be about two feet wide. Install the pond liner, with about six inches of overlap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Make a water flow with rocks<\/strong> &#8211; This is where it gets fun. Use different size rocks to create a natural look. This will take some work to get them in a functional and aesthetically pleasing position. Once they&#8217;re in place, give the water a test run. If it flows between or under rocks (which you don&#8217;t want) use pond sealant to fill in gaps and cracks.
