The Friday night ASA North race at MIS was postponed due to weather conditions. This race was re-scheduled to last night (Sunday). Ross came in 7th. Read all about it.

The Saturday night ASA North race at Rockford Speedway. Ross had fast time and set a new track record during qualifying. He went on to win the 100-lap feature race.

Congratulations to both Kenseths! Ross won his first Slinger Speedway win in the 35-lap late model main event and Matt won the 30th Annual Miller Lite Nationals super late model event. Pictures from the Slinger Nationals:

Ross Kenseth for Blain's Farm & Fleet

Ross came in 1st at Madison International Speedway last Friday evening. He also raced the ASA car at Slinger Speedway on Sunday.

Ross will be racing in the Slinger Nationals, in Slinger, WI, rescheduled tonight at 7pm due to rain last night. Matt Kenseth will also be a featured driver tomorrow night, driving a Blain's Farm & Fleet super late model car.

Ross will race ASA this weekend, with the first race, the Mayor of Madison 100, Friday night at Madison International Speedway, and the second race, the AllStar 100, Saturday night at Rockford Speedway.

Friday at MIS was rained out.

Sunday at Slinger Speedway we started on the pole, but finished tough.

This week, we race at MIS on Friday night and Slinger again on Sunday (in preparation for the Slinger Nationals next Tuesday, July 21, with Matt Kenseth also). At Slinger Nationals, Matt will be racing a Super Late Model car, while Ross will be racing a Limited Late Model, so they won't be racing against each other. Matt will be driving a Blain's Farm & Fleet car.

Ross Kenseth has been voted as the driver who put forth this week's Speed51.com Quarter Master Clutch Performance of the Week. The teenager beat an entry list that was 51 cars strong in a 38-lap sprint race at Madison International Raceway (WI) in the Big Eight Series this past weekend. Then he backed that run up with a fine top-10 performance in the ASA Late Model North race at Illiana. Performing under pressure without trouble must be in the genes for the son of NASCAR Cup Series champion Matt Kenseth, because Ross sure did exactly that this weekend. Kenseth was the overwhelming choice of our panel this week, but a few other racers also earned votes as well. Tommy Lemons, Jr. was the first driver to beat Philip Morris in the Late Model Stock Car class at Motor Mile since August 16th. He earned a nod for that accomplishment. Eric Williams also recieved a vote for defending his home turf of Thunder Road Speedbowl (VT) against ACT Late Model Touring stars like Patrick Laperle, Mike Olsen, Brian Hoar, Scott Payea and Joey Pole on Sunday afternoon.
