Ask Ross
Q: Anna M. asks..."Who is your favorite NASCAR driver besides your dad?" A: Ross replies..Well Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle have always been really nice to me and are really good drivers so I would have to go with them. Q: Larry K. asks..."I know your dad just had a baby recently. What's the first thing you plan to teach your younger sister?" A: Ross replies..The Chicago Bears theme song! Q: Jeremy Q. asks... ..."I read you just got your driver's license. What's that like compared to being on the race track? Which makes you more nervous?" A: Ross replies..Well you have to obey the speed limit on the streets! Honestly, I really don’t get nervous at all in a racecar or in my street car.
Here are questions from the week of July 27, 2009. Q: Lisa O. asks... "I know you're a big fan of Starbucks. How often do you go? Everyday? What's your favorite drink?" A: Ross replies..I go every morning I get a chance to, and I usually get a Grande Vanilla Latte. Q: Paul T. asks... "How old are you? When did you start racing?" A: Ross replies..16 years old and I started racing go karts when I was 5 and started racing a late model when I was 14. Q: Paul P. asks... ..."In August you'll race your dad for the first time. Madison International Speedway is your favorite track. With your dad's past experience at the same track do you think you can keep him behind you and take the win?" (P.S. It is nice seeing you race at Slinger. I saw your Dad race there for years. It is nice to see you at the local tracks.) A: Ross replies..It will be a challenge but the guys from Pathfinder Chassis usually give me a car that is really tough to beat at MIS so I think it'll be a fair race. Q: Faith S. asks... "What name do you go by when you are playing 'Call of Duty 4'? My sister and nephews play that game all the time." A: Ross replies..I haven't been able to go on at all this summer with all the racing I have been doing.
From Week of July 13, 2009 Q: Troy T. asks... "Where's your favorite track to race in Wisconsin? Have you raced at any others outside of Wisconsin yet? Do you like any of those better?" A: Ross replies..My favorite track is Madison International Speedway. It is a fast track and there are 2 grooves. I have raced a lot outside of Wisconsin but Madison is still my favorite. Q: Jerry A. asks..."How often does your dad make it out to your races?" A: Ross replies..He gets out to as many races as his schedule allows him too. There's no set number. Q: Jim K. asks... "What's it like to follow a path similar to your Dad's, racing in Wisconsin at a similar age?" Q: Karen O. asks... ""Would you drive your (race) car to school if you could?"
Q: Mistie C. asks... "Do you think you will race NASCAR with your dad sometime?? Would you like to?"
