Aj Pacheco asked: How does this product function at higher elevations? Ill be using it at about 8000 Ft and understand that the elevation can affect the carb performance - ordering this product online makes having this adjusted a questionable decision. Any thoughts? Oct 8, 2013

Bruce Y: Aj, Me & my brother used the chain saws up at 7800ft and we didn't notice any problems. I purchased online 2 of this Poulan Pro PP5020AV Gas Chain Saw. I guess if you're concern about the carb performance stop at a chain saw store & find out more info and if your carb need to be adjusted to function at a higher elevation, I am sure the store will do the adjustment. O' go to a chain saw store where they repair or sharpen the chain or ax, not a department store that sale only the product etc. Oct 11, 2013

mark d: I operate mine at 2100'. Works fine. But I am adamant about using "real" gas, and not that 10 or 15% ethanol crap. If you can get the pure gas, do it! for any small 2-stroke or Briggs type engine. Oct 9, 2013
