This tank is well made and a real value. The size is ideal for my purpose and an oval shaped 15 gallon tank has not been very easy to find.

Best Answer: i love this product, but the shipping on it is as much as the product itself, guess it's time to find a better container

Do these come with a drain plug of some sort?
A shopper on Nov 17, 2014
Best Answer: No, it does not. It does, however, have a flat spot where you could easily drill a hole and seat one. If you are asking because of adding a heater, we used a sinker doughnut 250W one last winter, instead, and it kept the tank very warm, even below zero! That was much cheaper to run than the standard drain plug heaters we use in our 100 gal horse water tanks. I hope this helps!

Can you put some type of heater in for winter??
A shopper on Dec 8, 2013
Best Answer: I would guess you could put something in with low heat to keep the water from freezing... like a bird bath heater. I only use mine to bathe my shelties in. It's nice and sturdy.
