What are the real difference between, Sakrete 5yr Driveway Sealer $17.99, Sakrete Asphalt Premium 5yr Filled Sealer $22.89, and the Sakrete Premium Flo-Coat 8yr Driveway Sealer $22.99? Will any of these take less then the other to apply? How does the warranty accully work on these products? Thank you in advance...
Best Answer: The obvious answer is that the eight year is designed to last on the driveway longer than the five year. I used the eight year last October on my driveway which was the first time that I had sealed it since I had it paved. I admit that my driveway looks good using the eight year; however, I honestly don't think that I could leave it for eight years without letting my driveway experience damage. I did apply a thick coat of the eight year sealer; especially, since it was the first time I sealed the driveway. As of today (5/30/2014) my driveway still looks good and dark. I could see though, that there are certain places that may have received rougher treatment that began to fade a bit. Not a whole lot, and most people may not notice but I am very detail oriented so I do. I predict that I may be adding another "lighter" coat next year. As for now, I do believe the seal will last through the next winter. By the way, I used about twice as much as what the container said I would need. Again, I had a newly paved driveway that hadn't been sealed before so it sucked it up pretty good. Anyway, from a 5yr to 8yr comparison perspective, I am happy with the 8yr but wouldn't pass up the 5yr for a good price since I've already spent the time and effort to apply a thick coat of the 8yr.
I hope this helps.

How many square feet will this 5 gallon bucket cover?
Best Answer: It depends greatly on the condition of your asphalt. I just did my driveway and I figure 5 gallons went about 375 square feet. I would recommend buying plenty and returning what you don't use. You don't want to run out half way through.
Does this product cover more area then the other Sakrete driveway sealers?
Best Answer: Just about the same maybe another 100 sq. ft.
