Would this work well for ducks? We have a heated poultry waterer which does not seem to work very well in temps below 32 degrees

Best Answer: Hi, I have used 5 of these buckets for over 10 years in both the Upper Midwest and the Northeast US. I just replaced one bucket for the first time (though I bought 2 on sale to qualify at that time for FREE shipping!) They have been water tight, and have held water temperature to 37-40 degrees (well above the freezing temps I experience from 32 to -15 degrees in my area). These are a large bucket, so you may have to figure out how to keep fowl from swimming in them. I have installed them inside and outside in all seasons for my horses.
