This is the ONLY feeder that will somewhat :-) survive a bear attack. Very easy to fill and holds a bunch of seed so you don't have to fill it daily.

How is this mounted?

Best Answer: The handle has a V-notch at the center and is very sturdy. We hung it on a large shepherd's hook pole.

Can it be mounted on post?
A shopper on Jul 28, 2015
Best Answer: Best quality feeder I've found - lasts forever. Great capacity and easy to fill. Nice to have side suet feeders. Easily mounts to wood post via pre drilled holes or adapts to metal pole feeder platform - but may have to modify hole placement depending on pole adaptor plate. Spring steel latch keeps racoons out. I only wish they still made it with wood perches - birds liked those better than metal ones.
